Russian military convoys crossed the Russian iron bridge between al-Merayiah and Marrat towns to Mazloum town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside in the past few days, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Nearly 30 tanks and armored vehicles of the Russian forces were deployed in Mazloum and Marrat towns, about 2 km from the area where the international coalition forces are present. The troops were deployed on the higher lands in Mazloum town near the oil Siyahi club and opposite Marrat bridge, the correspondent added.
The correspondent confirmed that the Russian forces seized civilian houses in Mazloum town and turned them into headquarters for the elements deployed in that area.
The newly deployed Russian vehicles in the east of the Euphrates were brought earlier this month from the countryside of Raqqa province.
