Yesterday, Iranian-backed militias held a meeting in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
A private source told DeirEzzor24 that the meeting included a number of militia commanders, and the meeting was chaired by Hajj Malik in one of the headquarters in Al-Tammu neighborhood in the city of Al-Mayadeen.
The source added that the goal of the meeting was to discuss measures to tighten security in the city, ensure confidentiality of movement, exchange information, and find out how information about the arrival of trainers from Iraq and Lebanon was leaked.
The militia commanders stressed during their meeting the need to emphasize complete secrecy in carrying out the work, and to be very careful about moving the locations of weapons and missile depots.
