The governor of Deir Ezzor has been impressed by a civil initiative involving the formation of a group called “The People of Deir Ezzor-Ta’azur Gathering,” he presented a thank-you note to its organizers.
The People of Deir Ezzor-Ta’azur Gathering is a group of people from the Deir Ezzor governorate, from inside and outside Syria, who aim to strengthen national unity and support development efforts to address the governorate’s challenges.
According to the founding statement, the gathering focuses on a set of goals and axes, most notably strengthening social cohesion by strengthening relations between the people of the governorate, whether inside or outside Syria, spreading the culture of tolerance and love, rebuilding and rehabilitating the governorate by supporting projects to improve basic services such as education, health and agriculture, supporting local competencies by sponsoring scientific and professional cadres and encouraging them to contribute to serving the community, and defending the rights of the people of the governorate by shedding light on their issues and demanding their legitimate rights.
The “Deir Ezzor Sons Gathering-Taazur” opens its doors to all those interested in joining and contributing to achieving its goals, according to the founding statement, whether from inside or outside Syria, expressing its aspirations for a better future for Deir Ezzor and its people.
