There was tension and disagreements that reached the point of verbal exchanges between members of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor province, with the start of the nomination and elections of the central leadership and commanders and members of the party branches in the provinces.
Our reporter said that the reason for the disagreements was the adoption of figures who were opposed to the Assad regime and within the opposition coalition, in addition to submitting reports that expose the practices of some of them in smuggling and trading in frozen dollars, such as “Raed Al-Ghadhban,” and moral scandals directed at Omar Al-Salama.
It is expected that the list of the Baath Party in Deir Ezzor will be issued in the coming weeks through appointment methods from Damascus according to the amounts paid by the central leadership represented by the so-called “Hilal Hilal,” while the current conflict has witnessed the return of the former branch secretary, “Saher Al-Sakr,” to the leadership of the Baath Party in Deir Ezzor Governorate.
