A private source told the DeirEzzor24 network that the only person allowed to conduct smuggling operations in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, is the commander of the Sayyida Zainab Regiment militia, called “Muayad Al-Duwaihi.”
The source added that “Muayad Al-Duwaihi”, nicknamed “Hajj Jawad”, is working to improve the image of the Iranian militias in the region by distributing money to the widows, orphans, and wives of those killed by the Iranian militias, with the support of the militia leaders.
Al-Duwaihi turned his shop, designated for selling makeup, in the market of the city of Al-Mayadeen, into a warehouse for selling Captagon, taking advantage of the immunity granted to him by the Iranian militias and preventing Assad forces patrols from entering his shop several times for the purpose of inspection.
