DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The majority of employees of the Assad regime’s departments in the city of Al-Mayadeen deliberately delay residents’ transactions in order to blackmail them financially, according to what was monitored by the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the employees use several pretexts to obstruct people’s transactions, such as power outages and computer malfunctions, and they demand sums from auditors of no less than 40,000 Syrian pounds, in exchange for issuing a simple paper, such as a registration card, while the value of some important transactions exceeds 500,000.
These obstructions forced families to refrain from visiting the departments to obtain official documents, except for the necessary ones, such as a birth certificate or death certificate.
