DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Yesterday, a dispute occurred between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia and the 4th Division of Assad’s forces, which reached the point of threat, in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
According to the reporter, the Fourth Division checkpoint stationed at the western entrance to the city of Albukamal stopped a number of trucks as they were heading from the city of Albukamal towards Damascus, and the checkpoint members asked their drivers to pay a sum of 400,000 liras for each truck.
He added that the truck drivers contacted the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia called “Abu al-Abbas,” who came to the site of the checkpoint and threatened the members of the Fourth Armed Forces to target all of its checkpoints spread in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor if they insisted on imposing royalties on trucks belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia’s goods.
He confirmed that members of the Fourth Division allowed the trucks to complete their route, without imposing any royalties on them, to avoid a clash with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.
