A group of local militiamen from the province of Deir Ezzor has rejected an offer by the IRGC, despite the financial advantages that come with it, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
This move by the IRGC to deploy their militiamen towards the south of Syria (Damascus and Quneitirah) coincides with the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. The move included good salaries and other privileges for those who agreed to go.
It should be noted that there were reports of some Iranian militia commanders speaking about the deployment of manpower to support “the axis of resistance”.
