The article’s picture is expressive
The residents of the Radeesat area in Deir Ezzor have been suffering from the accumulation of rubble in the area for years.
According to the correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network, the neglect of the City Council for the Al-Radeesat area comes directly from the governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, who is seeking to contract with an international organization to undertake the task of removing the rubble. This is in order to benefit from the financial sums that organizations will pay for this purpose.
It is worth noting that many international organizations carry out projects in Deir Ezzor in coordination with the Deir al-Zor Municipality, and some officials in the Assad regime exploit these projects for their personal gain.
