DeirEzzor24 Network has learned of the affiliation of more than 100 new members to the Village Guard militia affiliated with Al-Qaterji at the recently established point in the town of Khasham, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that most of the new recruits to the militia are from the towns of Khasham, Al-Tabia and the neighboring villages, where the volunteers of the village guards are not bound by military uniforms and have rather short shifts, and the volunteers are not required to have any age-related clauses.
Affiliation with the al-Qaterji militia, or what is known as the special missions, has become very popular in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, recently.
