The commander of the Baqir Brigade militia and military security, Fadi Al-Afis, seized a quarry in Hawija Marat in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the quarry is owned by a group of the town’s residents, and its mines were taken over after a dispute with the Fourth Division and bypassing the Department of Mineral Resources in Deir Ezzor.
The quarry seized by the “Al-Afis” is distinguished by its wide area, which exceeds 10 dunums, and the quality of its production, which is described as naturally sorted.
The price of one shift of gravel produced in this quarry is approximately 550,000 Syrian pounds.
