DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Recently, several incidents of theft were recorded, at night, from the Al-Busraya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, using horse-drawn carts, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He mentioned that the recorded theft incidents are carried out by the mechanisms known locally as “Trezinas” and accompanied by three or more masked persons, who are likely to be from the military militias affiliated with Assad’s forces (National Defense and Al-Quds Brigade).
He added that thefts generally target shops by breaking their locks and ripping off their doors, car batteries and domestic water engines, in addition to looting uninhabited homes.
Theft in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor has increased to a large extent in recent times, due to the proliferation of militias, the absence of law and the deteriorating economic situation.
