DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Allocations for heating stations in Deir Ezzor in the areas controlled by the Assad regime have stopped with the increase in cold waves and low temperatures, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the percentage of families who received heating fuel did not exceed 52% out of approximately 118,000 cards, and it is only 50 liters per family.
He added that the Fourth Division and the Republican Guard took advantage of the current situation and monopolized the firewood trade from Deir Ezzor trees, at a price exceeding 850,000 pounds per ton.
The areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor in particular, and Syria in general, have been suffering since the beginning of this month from a suffocating fuel crisis that led to the disruption of many public facilities.
