DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
An exclusive source told DeirEzzor24 network that the members of the Fourth Division checkpoint at the entrance to the Panorama, south of Deir Ezzor city, receive 300,000 Syrian pounds for each cotton truck leaving Deir Ezzor towards the Al-Fida mahalla in Hama governorate.
The source added that the operations of transferring cotton to Hama governorate began about 10 days ago, as the old gin in the Al-Jura neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city was out of service, and was converted into warehouses for flour and seed multiplication and the headquarters of some companies.
Cotton is considered by the Assad regime as one of the strategic crops, and its importance comes after wheat crops.
