A member of the Fifth Corps was seriously injured, leading to the amputation of one of his feet, when a landmine exploded in the town of Marat, east of Deir Ezzor, the day before yesterday, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the member entered the house, near the railway tracks in the “Marat Fawqani” neighborhood, with the aim of looting and theft, when the mine exploded and was transferred to the military hospital in Deir Ezzor.
Most of the people of the “Marat Fawqani” neighborhood are displaced in the Ma’izila area, north of Deir Ezzor, and Assad’s forces and militias seize their homes.
