DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The Directorate of Electricity in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, has instructed the city’s residents to install electricity meters for homes and shops within a period not exceeding 40 days, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the period granted for installing the meters started from the day before yesterday, Thursday, August 29, and also demanded that they pay old bills and violations, which it described as theft, and threatened violators to organize seizures against those who refuse to pay and refer them to the judiciary.
The cost of installing the electricity meter exceeds 200,000 Syrian pounds, in light of the deteriorating economic situation that most of Deir Ezzor families suffer from in the Assad regime-controlled areas of Deir Ezzor.
