DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the command of the 4th Division of Assad’s forces sent members to all points of the Fifth Corps of the Russian 1st Division in the villages east of the Euphrates in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, adjacent to the SDF.
Our correspondent added that the Fourth Division has assigned at least one member to each point of the Fifth Corps, whose mission is to monitor the night smuggling operation between the areas of the Assad regime and SDF.
He stressed that the operation came with the approval of the Russian general in charge of the region, despite the subordination and loyalty of the Fourth Division to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia.
The Fourth Division is trying to establish control over all smuggling sites in Deir Ezzor, in addition to the smuggling operations it runs in the region.
