Private sources revealed to DeirEzzor24 network the amount of the salaries of the Russian military in Syria.
The sources said that the compensation for the mission of the Russian element in Deir Ezzor amounts to $3,500 for the recruited element, and the salary of the Russian officer exceeds $5,000, and from $7,000 to $10,000 for high-ranking officers (generals) according to the ranks and tasks assigned.
The sources added that these salaries are disbursed from Syrian oil revenues in the countryside of Deir Ezzor (east of the Euphrates), in addition to various other resources.
She pointed out that these wages are specific to the military mission in Syria, in addition to the lump sum military salary for the soldiers in the Russian army.
These wages are for the official Russian military, and do not include paid Russian militias such as the Wagner militia.
