DeirEzzor24 network reported, a few days ago, news that the Command of Military Relations in Deir Ezzor region, affiliated with the SDF, paid the blood money of three employees of the “Mary” organization for development working in Deir Ezzor, four months after their death in a traffic accident as a result of their car (van) colliding with a truck (loader) on Al-Kharafi Road in Deir Ezzor (identified as “Al-Harith Samir”, “Mazen Eid Al-Darifi” and “Ahmed Ghanem Al-Huwaidi”).
In follow-up to the news reported by DeirEzzor24, the family of the young man, “Ahmed al-Huwaidi”, denied receiving any bloody money, and refused to accept it, due to the existence of a claim to compensate the price of the car owned by “Ahmed”, which was badly damaged during the accident, according to “Ahmed’s sister Saja al-Huwaidi”. .
“Saja” told DeirEzzor24 that her father refused to receive the blood money, unless the car’s compensation, estimated at $12,000, was paid. The SDF’s Military Housing Department, which owns the truck that caused the accident, refused to pay the car compensation, claiming that her truck was also damaged.
She added, We resorted to the law to obtain the rights of our deceased brother and his family, and we refused the clan mediation to resolve the case, because the clan mediation neglected the right of our brother and stood by the military department of the SDF.
