An exclusive source told DeirEzzor24 network that the command of the Russian forces at the Hmeimim base in Latakia has decided to re-delivery the members of the Syrian Fifth Corps of the Russian First Division with their full salaries, after reducing them for several months.
According to the source, the decision to restore the salaries to its predecessor came after the decision to halve the salaries of officers and members of the Fifth Corps nearly three months ago, and hundreds of them defected in Deir Ezzor province and went to the Iranian militias and the Fourth Division.
The Russian Finance, which is responsible for the Fifth Corps, yesterday distributed the salaries of the Fifth and Sixth Brigades in Deir Ezzor, according to the old financial tables, $200 for the operatives, and from $300 to $600 for the officers, according to their rank, specializations and tasks assigned to them.
