DeirEzzor24 network learned from a private source that businessman “Mohammed Hamsho” is preparing to establish a military faction (militia) in Deir Ezzor, to support his new mission in the province by conducting smuggling operations and transferring fuel from SDF-controlled areas to Assad regime-controlled areas.
According to the source, the backbone of the new militia will be people who have undergone settlement and reconciliation processes, with the support of the Commander of the Fourth Division, “Maher al-Assad”, brother of the head of the Assad regime, “Bashar”, and the blessing of the Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor.
He pointed out that the “Al-Hamcho”‘s agent in Deir Ezzor has not yet been known, and that all indications indicate that he is a tribal agent from one of the largest tribes in Deir Ezzor.
It is worth noting that “Hamsho” was approved by “Maher al-Assad” to seize the business of the Qatirji Group by transporting and smuggling oil, grain, livestock and basic materials from the SDF-controlled areas to the regime-controlled areas in the eastern region of Syria.
