The international coalition forces carried out two airstrikes on Hawija Kateh, which is controlled by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia, and is witnessing training and smuggling activities towards the second bank of the Euphrates River.
The raids targeted points belonging to the local Hezbollah militia and “Hashemiyoun”, while the Revolutionary Guards militia responded by bombing empty areas belonging to the coalition in Maizila in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
This coincided with the flight of the international coalition aircraft and the full mobilization of the coalition forces in the area.
