DeirEzzor 24 network documented the release of only two detainees from Deir Ezzor, according to the alleged general amnesty, which was recently issued by Bashar al-Assad, along with a number of recent detainees, in the security branches of Deir Ezzor province.
Informed sources confirmed to the network that the Assad regime has currently released only those who paid amounts ranging between 5 and 15 million SYP in exchange for the release of each detainee, stressing that there is manipulation in the detainees’ files, as the priority is to leave for those who pay to Assad’s militias and the Fourth Division that exploit the detainees’ tragedy .
