The international coalition forces found components of Russian cluster bombs and a barrel likely to contain chlorine, during a routine patrol in one of the areas on the 20th of last month. On the same day, they received 11 components of the munitions used in cluster bombs and disposed of them duly.
Despite Russia’s denials of its use of these weapons, the photos once again show clear evidence of Russia’s use of cluster bombs in Syria, as Russia has repeatedly denied using bombs that pose a clear danger to civilians in Ukraine, ignoring the presence of clear and tangible evidence confirming this.
It shoubd be pointed out that at the beginning of this year, the presence of Russian-made RBK-500 cluster bombs weighing about 500 grams was found in the Baghouz area, east of Deir Ezzor, and the coalition forces, through their specialized teams, dealt with the situation at that time.
