The Russian Operations Command in the eastern region sent 100 members of the Fifth Corps and task force to the city of Qamishli, where Assad’s forces has been clashing with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) since yesterday.
Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said that the members were transported by cargo plane to Qamishli airport and then taken to the hot spots in Qamishli.
Heavy clashes have been going on between the SDF and the National Defense Militia (NDf) in Qamishli since yesterday afternoon, after a group of the NDF killed a member of the Asayish.
