Two days ago, Pope Francis went on a special visit to meet the trapped Syrian refugees who are still stuck in Greece. He met with several families who complained to him about the deplorable and tough conditions they are going through.
The pope has taken 12 Syrian refugees from Lisbos, Greece, back with him to Vatican in an attempt to help them by granting their residency in the Vatican.
These 12 Syrian refugees are three Muslim families; two of them are from Damascus and one from Deir Ezzor.
