Fighting between the SDF and Daesh is continuing at the last points controlled by Daesh in the vicinity of Al-Baghuz village in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
And in the last few days, the SDF arrested a number of Daesh foreign fighters, they are:
– Dimitry Simonov, alias “Abu Issa Al-Russi” from Russia.
-Mahmoud Saeed Atib, alias “Abu Musab Al-Almani” from Germany.
– Nikolaos Joseph Lee, alias “Abu Yusuf Al-Amriqi”, from Latin America.
-Emrah Refa’at Ozan Oglu, alias “Abu Fatima Al-Turki”, from Turkey.
-Abrar Muhammad, alias “Abu Zuhair Al Suwaidi” from Sweden.
– Hisham Al-Arabi, alias “Abu Mariam Al-Mughrabi” from Morocco.
It is indicated that the SDF have intensified its military and security operations during the past period with the aim of arresting the sleeper cells of Daesh, and finding the leaders of Daesh who are responsible for managing operations and VBIEDs which are sent to cities or to military checkpoints in the area.
