Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said that fighting has been going on for more than an hour between Assad’s forces and Daesh in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to our correspondent, the clashes broke out between the organization and Assad’s forces due to Daesh’s repeated operations, that the most recent of which occurred days ago, when a cell of Daesh kidnapped four members of a militia affiliated with Assad’s forces in Aiyash village, and after nearly five days their bodies were found decapitated in the Badiyah of Aiyash with a message from the organization threatening all who deal with Assad regime.
Deir Ezzor 24 network has reported earlier today that Assad’s forces, under Russian leadership, represented by the 5th Corps, were preparing for a military campaign against Daesh in the badiyah of Deir Ezzor.
