Representatives of tribes from Deir Ezzor (Jabour, Bakara and Bakir) met with a delegation of the international coalition on Thursday, August 13, in Al-Suwar town in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside, at the invitation of Deir Ezzor Military Council commander (Ahmed al-Khubeil).
Information obtained by Deir Ezzor 24 confirmed that the meeting discussed the recent events in the region. All parties in the meeting agreed on continuing efforts to form a united front to eliminate Daesh and establish security and stability in the region.
They also expressed that unity and collective cooperation are key elements in the fight against Daesh and the malicious powers.
During the meeting, the spokesman for the international coalition stressed that the coalition forces and the SDF are still committed to establishing security and peace in Deir Ezzor.
This is the second tribal meeting in three days. Both meetings were for tribes of Deir Ezzor, but with different parties attending each time.
