On Tuesday, August 11, 2020,a source reported to Deir Ezzor 24 Network that Daesh killed three Syrian government forces 4th Division members in an ambush, western the town of al-Tabni in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.
The source added that Daesh established checkpoints near the Majbal al-Zift area, western al-Tibni, before it attacked the Assad forces’ posts in the area. The source noted that Daesh killed three Syrian government forces members and burnt a military truck.
Daesh launches frequent attacks in the al-Tibni area against the Assad forces and Russian and Iranian militias.
