Over the past two days, clashes with light and medium weapons erupted between two armed groups, one belonging to the National Defense Militia, called (Zia Saif al-Ali) group, and the other belonging to Al-Quds Force militia in al-Panorama area at the southwestern entrance of Deir Ezzor city, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent noted that the clashes followed a dispute over some of the materials the two groups had stolen, which has developed into a clash.
Zia al-Ali, a leader of the national defense militia, from Al-Joura neighborhood, has a long history in looting and dealing hashish and narcotics.
It is indicated that this clash is the second of its kind this week, as the day before yesterday, clashes erupted between Assad’s forces and the Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Mayadeen city when Assad’s forces arrested a doctor working with the Iranian militia.
