Last Thursday (June 11t), a state of tensions took place between a group of Assad’s forces and another one of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, according to Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent noted that the reason behind the dispute between the two armed groups is that Assad’s forces had arrested a doctor working with the Revolutionary Guard militia in a field hospital near the motorcycle market on the road to the industrial school in al-Mayadeen city.
Our correspondent confirmed that the both sides were on alert in Al-Mayadeen after a group of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia attacked one of Assad’s forces headquarters and opened heavy fire in the air.
It is indicated that this tension between Assad’s forces and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia may increase because Assad’s forces have refused to release the doctor, while the militia is still demanding his release.
