516 male and female students apply to seek admission to the schools for outstanding students in Hasakah and Qamishli

The Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah Governorate confirmed that an admission survey had been conducted for students wishing to enroll in schools for the gifted in the cities of Al-Hasakah and Qamishli, for grades extending from the seventh basic to the third secondary.

According to the directorate’s data, the number of applicants for the admission exam for the seventh grade reached 373 male and female students, 176 in the city of Hasakah and 197 in the city of Qamishli.

In the eighth grade, 115 male and female students applied, including 51 in Al-Hasakah and 64 in Qamishli, while the number of applicants for the ninth grade reached 45 male and female students, including 21 in Al-Hasakah and 24 in Qamishli.

In the second year of secondary school, the directorate recorded 37 male and female students, 11 in Al-Hasakah and 26 in Qamishli, while 3 students applied for the third year of secondary school, one student in Al-Hasakah and two students in Qamishli.

Thus, the total number of applicants for admission to the targeted classes reached 573 male and female students in the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli.
