Cadres of pumping stations  in Sector Five, affiliated with the Water Resources Directorate in Deir Ezzor, continue conducting field work to maintain and rehabilitate pumping stations, with the aim of raising their efficiency and ensuring the continued delivery of irrigation water to agricultural lands.

In this context, the station maintenance workshop, with the distinguished efforts and technical expertise of its workers, under the direct supervision of the head of the Pumping Stations Department and the guidance of the Director of Water Resources in Deir Ezzor, was able to repair the second helix in the lifting station in the fifth sector and return it to service and work.

The completion of the repair work represents an important step in enhancing the efficiency of the lifting station, which contributes to improving the delivery of irrigation water to agricultural lands, especially high-altitude areas that require sufficient quantities of water to ensure the continuation of agricultural activity.

This work is the result of the ongoing efforts made by maintenance workshops to rehabilitate equipment and put it into service, which will positively impact irrigation conditions, support farmers, and maintain the continuity of irrigation water access to agricultural land.

The Water Resources Directorate in Deir Ezzor extends its thanks and appreciation to the station maintenance workshop workers for their efforts, experience, and insistence on completing maintenance and rehabilitation work efficiently, in a way that serves the agricultural sector and farmers.
