The head of the Porterage Workers Union, Issa Al-Hussein, accompanied by members of the union’s office, conducted an inspection tour to the grain receiving center in an area of 10 km, to see the status of work after the end of the grain receiving season, on Wednesday.
The delegation listened to an explanation from the head of the center, Eng. Mohammed Al-Hamada, about the workflow and procedures that accompanied the grain receipt operations during the season, and the mechanism for organizing the receipt operations to ensure the preservation of the crop.
The union members also met with a number of workers and listened to their demands, which focused on speeding up the delivery of wheat bills and preparing a designated place for workers to rest, which would contribute to improving the work environment and meeting their needs.
At the end of the tour, union members called on workers to continue preserving the wheat crop, adhere to the cleanliness of the center, and continue to perform their duties efficiently, ensuring the smooth running of work and serving the public interest.
