Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that working groups belonging to Assad regime have begun digging a tunnel between Deir Ezzor province and Hasakah province.
According to the sources, the digging of a long tunnel between Deir Ezzor and Hasaka started days ago, to install a fibre-optic cable and feeds the areas from Deir Ezzor to Hasakah center with internet service.
The sources confirmed that the excavation work is being carried out on the line extending from Deir Ezzor city to the factories roundabout north of Deir Ezzor and al-Khurafi Road up to Hasakah province.
It is noteworthy that the fibre-optic cable which comes from Damascus province to feed Deir Ezzor with internet service has been damaged several times in the past eight years.
