In the context of its follow-up of Iranian-backed militia leaders in Deir Ezzor, DeirEzzor24 Network today highlights one of these leaders, known as Haj Maxim.
He is of Iranian origin and is in his fifties. He is fluent in the Arabic language in a way that makes you think he is an Arab. He is fluent in the Lebanese dialect due to his long service with the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. He lives with his family in the city of Al-Bukamal.
Haj Maxim is responsible for graduating courses in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia throughout Deir Ezzor Governorate and accepting and rejecting members after courses that include teaching the Shiite doctrine and training in some weapons.
Maxim is good at hiding and moving between the training camps of Iranian-backed militias and is considered one of the second-ranking leaders in Deir Ezzor province.
