Today, warplanes belonging to the Assad-regime executed violent air raids on the city of Muhassan, Deir Ezzor’s eastern countryside, claiming the lives of at least five civilians and wounding several others.
A D24 correspondent said that, “the air strikes targeted Al-Abad neighborhood, which is located in the center of the city, killing five civilians, including two children, a woman and an elderly, and wounding several others.”
He added, “Today, The regime has intensified the air strikes on the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, the city of Muhassan, Al-Mariiyah, Albu Omar and Al-Jafra. Al-Sinaa’ neighborhood witnessed five air raids while three air strikes were carried out on the village of Hatla and the Al-Maamel area, north Deir Ezzor.”
These intensive air strikes comes in synchronization with continuous clashes between Daesh and the Assad forces near strategic Thurdah Mountain and the southern front of the military airport, as well as Al-Jafra, north the airport.
The organization has captured several positions inside Al-Jafra and killed several Hizboallah and regime fighters today.
