A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that a number of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militiamen in Deir Ezzor have left the ranks of the militia.
The source said that the elements left the militia due to ill-treatment by the militia military leaders, the bad food and drink provided to them, and most recently the low salaries paid to them by the militia.
The source confirmed that most of the elements who defected from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia have joined the Russian forces, which are now offering large financial inducements to the elements who volunteer to fight in Libya for Haftar’s militia.
The source pointed out that in addition to those who have already defected from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia recently, dozens of volunteers are now preparing to defect from the militia to join the Russian forces.
It is worth mentioning that the Russian forces have recently been attracting the people of Deir Ezzor to join their ranks with financial inducements of up to $2,000 for each element who volunteers to fight in Libya.
