Upon his return, al-Iraqiyeh conducts inspection campaign in Deir Ezzor

The commander of the National Defense Militia (NDF) in Deir Ezzor, Firass Al-Iraqiyeh, conducted an inspection campaign in the NDF’s prison in al-Joura neighborhood of Deir Ezzor city, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

According to a source inside the militia, al-Iraqiyeh conducted this campaign to gain the favour of the Russian forces after they received several complaints about the prisoners’ poor health condition inside the prison, especially at this time of coronavirus outbreak and the lack of prevention supplies.

“Al-Iraqiyeh” was in Damascus as he had been summoned by one of the security branches. He returned to Deir Ezzor two days ago to start his work as the commander of the NDF in Deir Ezzor.
