Unknown gunmen launch a new attack on Assad forces positions in the east of the Euphrates, Deir Ezzor province

Unknown gunmen attacked a military security checkpoint in the town of Khasham in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, this morning, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.

He said that the attack was carried out with automatic weapons, and no casualties were recorded. The number of the attackers was estimated at four, two of whom fled towards the SDF-controlled areas towards the Konoko factory road, while two fled towards the town’s homes.

Assad’s forces positions and the Fifth Corps in the area were mobilized at the highest level in response to the attack.
