The United Nations (UN) opened a new office in al-Qusour neighborhood of Deir Ezzor city in the presence of Assad regime’s officials, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
According to the correspondent, the new office will be dedicated to providing non-food humanitarian assistance, and will work in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
UN agencies and organizations have been operating in Assad forces’ areas for several years.
