Exclusive:
Yesterday, Saturday, a position of the Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor province near the Border between Syria and Iraq was bombed by unknown aircraft, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent reported.
According to sources, the bombing targeted a position of the Border Guard Battalion of an Iranian-backed militia on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
Our correspondent in al-Bukamal city said that there were no sounds of aircraft during the bombing, which means that the bombing might be carried out by drones. The bombing resulted in the destruction of three military vehicles, which were seen today transported by large trucks to Al-Hajjana Street in Al-Bukamal city.
It is indicated that the Iranian militias take al-Bukamal and its badiyah as its base in eastern Syria, where there are a number of the Iranian militias in the city and its countryside.
It is noteworthy that U.S. forces have intensified their targeting of Iranian positions in Syria and Iraq over the past period.
