The two members of the People’s Assembly from the Baath Party list, “Sumar al-Zahir” and “Bashar al-Mutlaq”, obtained two master’s degrees in law during this week, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
According to a private source, our correspondent said that the two members obtained their master’s degrees after paying sums exceeding $100,000 for each person.
He added that “al-Zahir”, the head of the Revolutionary Youth Union, obtained a master’s degree in international law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Aleppo with distinction, while “al-Mutlaq”, the son of the city of Hajin and a member of the Central Committee of the Baath Party, obtained a master’s degree in private law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Damascus.
It is noteworthy that the two individuals are accused of falsifying the results of the party’s nationalization by manipulating the vote of the Faculty of Agriculture auditorium.
