Two fighters from Deir Ezzor were killed in the VBIED attack that targeted a headquarter and an arms depot belonging to the Nouredine Zenki Movement in the city of Azaz , northern Aleppo, yesterday. The movement held the organization of Daesh responsible for the attack.
A private source told D24 that at least 25 fighters were killed, including two fighters from Deir Ezzor. They were identified as Ali Al-Najrass from the city of Al-Ishaara and Ibrahim Jabour Al-Rassli from the city of Deir Ezzor. The source added that the death toll might increase.
The two fighters had operated under the command of the Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah faction before joining the Zenki Movement recently.
Azaz city, the main stronghold of the opposition in northern Aleppo, has been targeted by several VBIEDs, of which Daesh claimed responsibility for the majority of them.
