DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The city of Al-Bukamal is witnessing a significant increase in the prices of livestock and foodstuffs, as a result of their monopoly and smuggling by merchants linked to Iranian-backed militias, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said that these merchants supervise the smuggling of foodstuffs from Albukamal to Iraq, and the prices of most vegetables and fruits have risen by about 3,000 liras per kilogram of each type.
It is worth noting that the people of Albukamal submitted several complaints to the Supply Directorate of the Assad regime in the city, but their complaints did not receive any response as the employees received bribes from merchants and smugglers on a weekly basis..
