Yesterday afternoon, the Financial Office of the Fifth Corps delivered the monthly salaries to the Corps members with varying increases, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said the increase came as follows (the Fifth Brigade, $200 instead of $130, the Sixth and Seventh Brigade, $150 instead of $130).
The Fifth Corps is affiliated with the Russian First Division. The Fifth Brigade brigades adjacent to the American forces east of the Euphrates are classified as a dangerous mission. At the same time, the Sixth Brigade is stationed in the Al-Mayadeen area, east of Deir Ezzor. The Seventh Brigade is in the Shula area on the Damascus Road in the Levantine Desert, south of Deir Ezzor Governorate.
The increase in the Corps’ salaries comes within the framework of the Russian-Iranian competition to attract the people of Deir Ezzor Governorate.
