The Revolutionary Guard militia opens the door to joining its ranks in Deir Ezzor

The Revolutionary Guard militia has opened the door to joining its ranks in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor, according to what was reported by the DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.

Our reporter said that the militia will begin receiving those wishing to volunteer in its ranks of all ages as of July 1, 2024, according to a settlement in each of the headquarters of rural development and human resources and the cities of Al-Mayadeen and Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.

This new recruitment of the Revolutionary Guard militia comes after the defection of a number of its members after the recent attacks in the Al-Bukamal desert, in addition to the recent demobilization decision by Assad’s forces for those who have completed five years of service.
