DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Dozens of residents of the town of Al-Azba, northeast of Deir Ezzor, gathered and demanded the distribution of fuel to civilians, denouncing the corruption of the institutions of the Self-Rule Administration of North and East Syria.
The protesters demanded the expulsion of the supervisor of the Directorate of Economy in the Deir Ezzor Civil Council of the Self-Rule Administration called “Haval Hamza”, stressing that he is one of the commanders the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), and was assigned by the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
The demonstrators also accused “Haval Hamza” of selling crude oil to Assad’s forces, through the Qaterji militia, which is responsible for smuggling fuel from SDF areas to Assad’s areas, while the people of Deir Ezzor suffer from a shortage of fuel, especially in the winter, as it is used as fuel for heating, in light of the power outage that last for long hours.
