DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that Nawaf Al-Bashir was summoned to the State Security Branch in Deir Ezzor and interrogated.
The sources said that the charges against Al-Bashir were incitement and planning to organize an anti-Assad regime demonstration in the Al-Halween roundabout in the Al-Qusour neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, according to a report submitted to Major General Hossam Louqa in Damascus.
Al-Bashir is the commander of the Ausud Ashayer militia, affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, and runs smuggling groups in coordination with the Fourth Division of Assad’s forces. He was previously one of the leaders of the “Baqqara” tribe before his return to the Assad regime.
